Beyond the Darkness -
the Healing of a Suicide Across the Threshold of Death
 I
wrote Light Beyond the Darkness to tell in detail
my experiences with my son after his suicide and to give suggestions
on how to read to the dead. I want to share this miracle with you.
You can help the suicide and yourself by this reading, and it's
easy to do.
When my son,
Richard, committed suicide sixteen years ago, I felt devastated because
I knew that he may have shed his body, but he hadn't escaped from his
consciousness and his pain. Indeed, I could feel that he was more unhappy
than before. Many books have been written which tell of the suicide's
plight after death. George Ritchie's Return from Tomorrow is just
one.
I was
frantic because I didn't know how to help him except to pray for
him. Then, I learned that I could help him by reading spiritual
books to him.
I read
to my son everyday for five years and had many experiences with
him. The first time I heard from him, he told me that he had finally
found something to help him. That spurred me on to contiue to read.
I never expected to hear from him, and I would have read to him
whether I heard from him or not, because I was certain it was helping
him.
During those
five years of reading, my son was able to move from a place of dark despair
to a place filled with light. By this time I had read over 200 books to
him.
My hope is that others can have the same experience.
I wish
you and your suicide many blessings.
